Color Sorting Systems

AMT provides systems that determine color on various types of materials utilizing on-line sensors, customized equipment, and automation software.

This capability allows users to develop “pass/fail” or true color measurements using the internationally recognized L, a, b scale. The system can also be used for purposes of sorting material into several categories based on color. The ability to stratify raw materials and finished goods into different color shades has been proven beneficial in the industry sectors in which AMT, Inc. is involved.

AMT, Inc. typically implements these systems within the manufacturing or process environment, depending upon the customer sorting/grading application requirement. AMT Inc. can also personally develop the sorting/grading specifications to best suit the customer’s needs through needs assessments and analysis.,

Here at AMT, Inc., we have worked with many different industries including food, beverage, furniture, and lumber to create “pass/fail” or true color measurements using our color sorting systems.
