PTP^TM Data Collection Module

PTP is an affordable plant floor data acquisition system designed to integrate with existing packaging units and lines. PTP’s modular approach can also provide production status, diagnostics, database, and central interface. These capabilities make PTP suitable for interfacing with ERP, MRP, or MES systems, if required. PTP is a simple and cost effective way to monitor and measure packaging area performance.

PTP is composed of packaged software, application software, PC(s), device communications, database, signal processing, and data communications hardware. In some applications a PLC may be added as well as other standard components based on customer needs and expansion requirements.

PTP can be configured to perform important functions such as equipment monitoring, interfacing, data acquisition, communications, data base storage/retrieval, remote access, trending, SPC historian, and packaging unit object development.
